Recreational Class Options

Ages 5+

Level 1 is designed to build a strong foundation in basic tumbling technique. Athletes will work on essential body positions and introductory skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and kick-overs. The class also includes progressions into front and back walkovers, as well as walkover connections. This level is perfect for developing coordination, strength, and confidence in fundamental movements.

Ages 5+

In Level 2, athletes begin focusing on back handspring development. Instruction will cover both standing and running entries, including drills for standing back handsprings, round-off back handsprings, and connecting multiple back handsprings in a row. Technique, timing, and proper body alignment are emphasized to ensure safe and consistent execution as athletes begin working on more dynamic backward tumbling.

Ages 5+

Level 3 introduces flipping skills and challenges athletes to generate more power and control. Core focus areas include standing back tucks, round-off back handspring tucks, and front tucks. Athletes will also work on connecting tucks from standing or running entries, developing both forward and backward flipping capabilities. This level bridges the gap between foundational tumbling and advanced skill combinations.

Ages 5+

In Level 4, athletes move into layout-based tumbling. Skills include round-off back handspring layouts, standing tumbling to tucks, and specialty passes that finish in layouts. Drills focus on achieving proper body position, height, and control during flight. Athletes will also build endurance through longer, connected tumbling sequences that prepare them for twisting and higher-level passes.

Ages 5+

Level 5 is centered around twisting skills, with a primary focus on fulls and specialty combinations. Athletes will train round-off back handspring fulls, specialty through to fulls, and standing tumbling into layouts or fulls. Emphasis is placed on clean technique, air awareness, and the ability to perform twisting skills safely and consistently in both isolated and combination passes.

Ages 5+

Level 6 is for athletes ready to master the most elite tumbling elements. This includes double fulls, specialty passes into doubles, and other advanced twisting passes. Training emphasizes height, precision, body control, and seamless transitions through complex tumbling sequences. Athletes will work toward top-level execution required for high-caliber routines and elite competition standards.
