Our Novice teams are the perfect way to learn the fundamentals of competitive cheerleading. Novice cheer is ideal for athletes without cheer experience and for those with minimal tumbling experience. Our Novice athletes learn the fundamentals of cheerleading and compete locally.

Novice
All-Star Prep
Prep is a fun competitive program where athletes beginning to develop their knowledge of cheer and their competitive edge. Our prep athletes us the fundamentals of cheerleading and tumbling that they learned in novice to begin perfecting their technique and showmanship. Our Prep teams compete provincially.
All-Star Elite & All-Star Select
Our All-Star Elite stream provides athletes with a high-quality cheer experience rooted in strong technical skill development, discipline, and the core values that define Cheer Sport Sharks Calgary. Athletes train in an encouraging yet focused environment where coaches set clear expectations, promote consistency, and help each athlete push toward their personal best. Our Elite teams compete nationally with 1-2 events out of province.
Our All-Star Select stream is designed for athletes ready to take their cheer journey to the next level. These teams represent Cheer Sport Sharks Calgary at prestigious year-end events and require a higher level of commitment, both in time and financial investment. Select Teams train with increased intensity, attend additional practices and camps. Our Select teams compete nationally and internationally with 2-3 events out of country.
Worlds
Our Worlds stream is designed for athletes who are ready to take their cheer journey to the highest level. Worlds Teams train with increased intensity, attend additional practices and camps, and travel to elite competitions where they perform against the top programs in the world. We welcome athletes who are motivated, disciplined, and excited to embrace the responsibility that comes with representing Sharks at a Worlds-caliber level.
